When do people get high fever?

High fever - people get hay fever when they are allergic to small particles existing in the air. The most common causes are the pollen of certain plants. Therefore the hay fever seasons vary greatly in different parts of the world according to the vegetation present. In North America ragweed is the worst offender, causing a great deal of distress in late summer and early fall. In Britain, pollen from timothy grass causes hay fever in spring and early summer. Other causes are dust, animal hairs, moults and of course hay itself.
